Very sweet game tonight and the Angels takes game one in the series. Tomorrow, lets hope we win and try for a sweep on Sunday.

I am not sure if we will get a sweep, but I WANT to win the series for sure. I think the Angels can do it if they play good baseball like tonight. The BP was able to get the job done, with very nice offense as well.

I wouldn't exactly call it " good baseball" . How many unearned runs were given up 2-3? Still it's a win and a good come from behind win. So maybe a good place to start putting a nice winning streak together.

I'm worried about Trevor Bell though. I just don't think the Angels can survive anymore shellings when he's on the mound.

Yeah I agree 100% about Trevor Bell's pitching. It's not pretty at all, and being down two starters won't make the rest of the season go very well :(

The Angels showing what they were missing the whole time after Kendry went down.. OFFENSE. What happens at the trade deadline (aside from Haren and Callaspo)? Nothing. Reagins and Moreno .

Haren did his job tonight. Just no run support.
Callaspo showed everyone how stupid the trade was by continuing to be ineffective.

We're going to need to win 8 out of 10 from here on out or something... and pray Texas loses half of their games.

I was there tonight and still had a blast even tho it was a lose. A big one too. It was a pitcher's game, and Haren gave up the homer to Vlad, and that is all she wrote.

The Angels pitching over all was better, because Texas did not get as many runnings on base tonight. The Angels on the other hand, we left too many with no run support for Dan's great job at the mound :(

Man, I'm starting to think our starters are beyond pissed right now. Their personal stats are being hurt by the lack of offense. Well, not all is lost tho because we can still take the series tomorrow. Let's hope Weaver gets the much needed run support, and we beat Texas

Oh, the Rangers fans don't travel well haha I only saw a few of them today. Go Halos!

I would love to see Bourjos up in the majors, and I agree we need to work on the Outfield big time for 2011. The infield is fine even tho I would like to have a good backup for 3rd base. Once we get Kendry back, and work on Howie's bat a bit more, I think 2011 will be a lot better for the Angels with a young OF and MUCH needed upgrades in the BP.

This upcoming offseason will bring a lot of good changes I'm thinking

And, hockey series is around the corner too! Can't wait to see the Kings back in action and on the ice soon

Great game and a series win today

We got to Lee and Weaver only gave up one unearned run today. What amazing pitching for our ace big time.

The offense was able to give him runs to get the win too. About time, and what about Callaspo? Much better than Wood and Fransden at bat and defense in my eyes. Like I said before, I'm happy with the trade and the fact we don't deal with Brandon Wood anymore.

We are still 8 games behind Texas, but back in second place again. The Halos were in third after yesterday's lose and the race won't be an easy one it seems haha.

Now, the series with Baltimore is very important too. The Angels NEED to win that series and get the sweep because it will be a great chance to gain good ground against the Rangers. Texas goes up against Seattle for three, and then Oakland etc.

Yeah I can't wait for them to go against the Yankees for 2 games and then Boston. I'm hoping the AL East teams beat them, so we can gain even more ground. The season is not over yet, but the Halos NEED to cont to play kick ass baseball to have a chance for the AL West title.

Good series win but I'm not happy with it. If we swept them, we would have only been 6 games back. But now we're almost back right where we started. 8 games back.

But hey, 2 full months to play... it's not impossible.

Callaspo showed up to play today. He didn't do squat for a week. I still don't like the trade but hopefully he proves me wrong.
