Not all is lost tho. The Rangers lose tonight, and it's a shame because we could had got a full game on Texas today.

Tomorrow, we better win and get back into the thick of things.

Hunter makes permanent move to right field | angelsbaseball.com: News

Manager Mike Scioscia said before the game that rookie Peter Bourjos will be the center fielder from now on with Hunter moving to right and Bobby Abreu shifting to left.
    ...

Scioscia confirmed before the game that this is not a temporary move.

"Peter's going to play center field; you're not going to see Torii flip-flopping back and forth on a given day," said Scioscia before the series opener with the Orioles. "The situation, the way it presented itself right now, is a great time to do it. We definitely need some range in the outfield and outfield presence, and Peter can bring that. This isn't about what Torii was or wasn't doing in center field."

Already down 3-0 to the Orioles in the 2nd. Fun.

We lose again, but some good stuff happened in this game tho. One, Peter Bourjos got his first major league hit, and was 2-4 for the night! Not bad and has very nice speed in the OF.

The Angels almost made a great comeback tonight, and if Santana had a good start, this game would had been ours. Man, tomorrow is a must win because we are now below .500 baseball.

At least the Rangers are losing in Seattle again, but it won't help us in the standings much at all :(

Good thing was, the bats came alive, even tho it was too late in the game.

Ok we have Dan Haren on the mound tomorrow and let's hope the offense shows up again too. I don't want to be swept by Baltimore.

Sigh, the Rangers won 11-6 tonight. Not good

Might as well just sit back, enjoy the rest of this trainwreck of a season, and wait for hockey season to start.

I think HockeyMariner88 has a point haha. It's been a while and I really miss Kings hockey. Frozen Fury will be a blast indeed

Oct is only two months away now (less until my Vegas trip!). I still enjoy watching the Angels play, but it sucks seeing them have a tough year. They did not upgrade last offseason and it's showing in 2010.

But, 2011 will bring many things and changes I'm hoping. With a new young CF is a good start, now work on the rest of the holes and I'll be very happy next year.

Nobody is going to mention Hunter's base running blunder... again?

Let's break it down and set the tone:
    - It's 9 - 1 Baltimore going into the 7th inning.
    - Angels score 5 in the 7th to make it 9 - 6.
    - In the 9th Abreu doubles to deep center.
    - Hunter doubles to deep center, Abreu scores, 9 - 7.
    - There is 0 outs, Hunter is on 2nd.
    - Kendrick is at the plate (3 for 8 in the series with two doubles and a home run to that point).
    - Hunter tries to steal 3rd?!?! Is thrown out, not even close.
    - Kendrick then almost immediately pops out to center.
    - There is now 2 outs and nobody on base within about a minute after the Angels get back to back doubles and RBI to start of the 9th inning.
    - Rivera then singles to deep left. That's 3 hits on 4 batters.
    - Napoli flies out to right to end the game.

There is absolutely NO reason to steal 3rd in that situation. Even if he's safe, so what!? He scores, their still down by one. All that matters is trying to get the tying run on base, nothing else. Any ways, here are some articles about it:

Haha F Rod strikes AGAIN and gives up the game winning run. Sigh. Yeah I do think all the Angels fans pretty much know this season is over.

Time to look forward to 2011 and what needs to be done. I hope next year is a lot better for the Halos

I look at it this way, it could be worse, they could be the Dodgers.
