Yeah you never know what could happen, but the Angels lose big time tonight. 7-1 sigh
Texas wins 2-0 and let's see what happens tomorrow

Good game so far and Peter Bourjos get his first career home run today, and Bobby homers right afterwards too!

Damn what a game for Peter Bourjos today. Homer, a first career triple and an awesome throw to home for the third out...with bases loaded! Nice work and let's hope he conts to play like this going forward!
Texas is getting hammered and maybe the season is not over just yet haha

It's pretty much over. I have lost all hope anyway. But it was nice to see a 4 RBI game from Bourjos. Grats on the 1st career HR and probably 1st career Triple. =D

Haha TooCool giving up is not very cool
Messing around but I'm hoping for the best still even tho the chances are beyond slim. Still, it's fun watching the Angels baseball and games like this today.
Let's take the series tomorrow and return to the Big A for some more fun

Yeah things are interesting this season. One, we are playing .500 baseball, and the Rangers are not playing that good as well. So, we are not really moving the in stands.
So, if things cont like they are now. We will stay about 7 games back for the rest of the season. Maybe 2011 will be better for the Angels. Kendry was a big lose, and we have not made up for the season.

The Rangers are 5 - 9 in their last 14 games.
If you can't take advantage of that with the one team you are worried about catching in the standings, there is '0' hope for this team this season.
Unless the Rangers continue this sub-par baseball and for some very odd reason the Angels decide to wake up and hit the ball, ESPECIALLY with runners in scoring position, this season is over for the Angels and pretty much already has been.
Very frustrating knowing that it's not the Rangers being "that good" this season, it's the Angels being just plain bad.

Man what a game tonight even tho it was a lose. Scott did a pretty good job after that rocky first two inns and the BP locked the Rays down.
On the other hand, the Angels leave a good amount on base tonight losing 4-3. Still a good game, but our RISP just sucks monkey balls

The Rays got raped today and Dan Haren only gave up one run via a homer. The Angels win 12-3 and played some great baseball too! Grand Slam and Howie has a 5 hit game as well.
I just hope the offense does not go by by on Friday night with Weaver on the mound haha

Some news today for the Angels. Yes, the off and on offense conts but our BP no longer has Brian Fuentes.
He was traded to the Twins for 'prospect with upside' interesting and I wonder what that means lol We will see soon enough. And Rodney will be our closer going forward.
I'm not too sure if I like that idea. The guy is not that good on the mound. This looks like a hint of things to come? Angels BEING cheap again and won't buy the much needed upgrades for 2011?!?!?
We will see soon enough, and this season is over that is for sure. The team is not even .500 level and I don't see it getting any better by the end of Sept.
