lol Wood homers for the game winning run who would had guessed. Good game over all for the Halos. Not that it means much anymore, it's still good to see Angels baseball beating a much better team.
Now, lets win the series and finish .500+ for the season

The Angels won the series against the Rays. Which was a double edged sword really. One, we are done in the race in the West, so the games really don't matter at this point. Two, I want the Rays to win the East and the Halos made it harder for them to do so haha
Anyway, tomorrow the series with Texas will be awesome no matter what happens! Our magic number is 4 and theirs is 6. It will be a lot of fun watching these games with the Rangers...the next 13 games left 7 are with Texas! Good times indeed

The race is officially over now. No surprise but still sad to hear tho. The Angels have a lot of work to do this offseason, and I hope to read that Crawford has joined the team in the next few months!
That will be a good start and then work on the BP a bit as well. The infield is pretty good with Kendry returning next year. The outfield we need to replace Bobby with someone else, and make him the new DH. Oh, and trade Mike Nap for some more offense I'm thinking.
I know he leads the team in HR, but that is all Mike is good for. I don't like the guy and rather have more of a good hitter instead. As for Jeff Mathis tho...he really needs to learn how to hit better. The bottom of our order right now = easy outs 99.9% of the time.
It's crap and Jeff has to do something to improve which I'm not sure will happen next season. We will see tho!

Been quite here lately haha. I went to my last Angels game for the season, and it was a lose
It started out great, but the Halos were unable to hold onto the lead. Anyway, I had fun this year even tho it pains me to visit the Texas Rangers' AL West banner site now. Sucks, and I'm not used to seeing it lol. It has been since 1999 the last time the Rangers went to the postseason.
They will need a lot of luck tho. I don't see them getting past the first round myself. Unless the Twins fall apart or the Rays don't push forward. The Yankees will eat Texas for lunch and come back for seconds. Yeah, good luck Rangers because you are going to NEED it
Since the Angels are done this season, I'm rooting for the Rays because I want to see them go really deep and win the WS!
