One more good Angels win, and we can't lose the series now. I'm glad Weaver got the win because the BP was able to protect the one run lead.

Good times and let's win one more to take the series Halos!

    Good win tonight again.

If the Angels continue to play well in the 2nd half of the season, everything will fall into place when Texas fades.

I'm surprised Texas is beating the Red Sox, but Boston has a lot of key players out on the DL right now tho. I want the Rangers to lose tomorrow, so we can try and gain some ground in the West.

I'm watching the recaps and it looks like I missed a great game. Even tho I would had been pissed at blowing a 5 run lead, at least it ends with the Angels WINNING!!!

We got the series and let's be greedy going for a sweep tomorrow

Oh, the Rangers lost today and the Halos are only 3.5 games back now! Man, a sweep tomorrow would be great, but I'm very happy we won the series tho! That is more important indeed

Well we don't get the sweep but take the series which is more important anyway. Btw, we seem to never get any ground in the West tho LOL Still 4.5 games back but we have some tough series for the next two weeks.

After that, we go up against Baltimore and then right back into a tough series with the Tigers. Man, it won't be an easy time that is for sure. Two game series in New York I'm hoping we win, but I'll take 1-1 because I don't think a sweep will be an order again the Yankees haha

Wow that was an interesting post haha. TooCool, I think we might be wrong about the Rangers. They are beating very good teams, and they don't seem to be slowing down at all.

The Angels are now 5 games back and we face the Yankees for two games this week, and a Texas series too err. Not good, and I still think the Angels can take the West...but it's not looking that good atm.

Still way too early Melfice. No need to worry.

If the Rangers aren't going to slow down because all the other teams are bending over (Red Sox, Indians, Tigers), then the Angels will have to gain ground themselves.

A quick look at the schedules for the rest of July.

    Rangers
    3 @ Tigers
    4 VS Angels
    3 VS A's
    3 @ Angels

    Angels
    2 @ Yankees
    4 @ Rangers
    3 VS Red Sox
    3 VS Rangers

The Angels easily have the tougher schedule for the rest of the month. The 7 games with the Rangers is HUGE. Only 5 games back though. Hopefully we can take 3 out of 4 this weekend against them and 2 out of 3 next weekend to gain huge ground.

If the Angels fail though, we could easily end up 10+ games behind. =x I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Wow what a game tonight! The Angels had bats going all over the place. 3 home runs in one game against the Yankees.

Also, we kept their runs to only 2

We take the first game and let's go for the sweep tomorrow please!
