His pitching has been bad most of the season, and we really need to split the series. Man, I rather see Kazmir pitch and roll the dice with him than Bell. I think Texas will eat Trevor up like no tomorrow.

I know Hunter is undefeated so far and has pitched excellent, but when Cliff Lee is on your team, I wouldn't label anyone else as the ace. Hunter is bound to have a fall from grace, so lets just make it today. Big game, need to cut the Rangers' lead back down to 5. With another series at home next week, 5 is manageable. 7 just seems so much worse. But I agree with you, Bell pitching in Arlington does not seem like a good combination.Quote:

Wow my friend called me and I thought it was a joke at first LOL. Getting my hopes up high that we got Haren, but I'm very sad to lose Saunders tho. He has done a lot for the Angels over the years and I wish him the best in AZ! I will be going to some D-Backs games to see him pitch again :)
Very good news and all we need is the Offense to be STABLE going forward. You can have a great SP, but if there are no runs, what's the point then? Ask Joe how he felt for the lose against Texas when he got no run support from his team. At least our SP will be impressive going forward
I would not be surprised if they keep Kazmir as a SP for the rest of the year. 4 out of 5 is not bad really.
Let's hope the Angels don't lose Reckling or Conger in this deal. If so, it's not as sweet as it might seem.
Wow!!!! Maybe Haren's ERA will go down now that isn't on a team of stiffs heading for 95 losses.
Looks like the Skaggs will be part of the trade. If so, the Angels will still have Trout, Conger, Bourjos, Mesa, Richards, Chatwood still in the farm system. Which is good indeed.

We have the Red Sox and Rangers this week. Just win 2 out of 3 from each one and we'll look forward to August. Still plenty of baseball. August + September. No worries!! :) I seriously can't wait until we play the Orioles. The Rangers have had all the fun against them already.
