One hell of a game tonight. This is the kind of comebacks we need to win games. Lots of memories from 2002 thats for sure.
Lackey with an extremely off night. He'll definitely bounce back. Anyone else shocked to see Shea Hillenbrand going 3-5? lol

Figgy going 6 for 6 last night was impressive but I don't want him to become the "go to" when the chips are on the table.. this guy gets hot every June or July then is nowhere to be found in Sept & Oct. I hope I'm wrong but I know it's going to happen!
Chris Pronger and a few other Dux showed up at Anahim Stadium w/ the Stanley cup.
They appeared in the TV broadcast booth.
Rex Hudler lifted it up over his head
Yeah, I was there with Bobby and my parents. Of course, I was decked out in full Kings attire. The beauty of the situation is that I happened to sit right in front of a guy from Montreal, and his wife and kids... and to my left, there was another guy who was a Kings fan. Really nice people.Originally Posted by IceDogsFan
The game sucked, so we talked hockey pretty much the whole time.
I was actually disgusted by the fact that when the Stanley Cup Champions were announced, not very many people cheered, almost no one stood up, and the cheering only went on for about 20 seconds. There were more brand-new never-worn Ducks jerseys and baseball caps there than I'd ever seen.
Great series against the Pirates. Even though we had to go extra innings in 2 games against them. But the ability to win like that is great.
I was at the game today, my 1st ever day game. I put on too little sunscreen and was sloppy in putting it on too. Now I got ridiculous splotches of burns on my face. Going to head down there to the big A again tomorrow night against the Royals. Go HalosHopefully we'll be the 1st team this season to reach 50 wins.

3 pages and no one has pointed out that there is no such thing as the "Anaheim Angels"?
"Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim" is the official name folks.
And of course most sports announcers never bother with the "of Anaheim" part, so they call them the Los Angeles Angels.
I'm just sayin'.

while as a life long Angels fan I really don't care what city they affiliate themselves with. The whole LA thing did bug me when it started going down but by the time it happened I was like.....eh big deal. I prefer they be the Anahem Angels especially considering they won their title under that name. However, I'm not from Anaheim so what do I care.
Back to the thread, the Angels are just playing incredible baseball. All the come from behind wins are reminiscent of 2002 and if they win it this year I think I'll pass out. Having my two favorite teams win titles within 4 months of each other would be unreal. The Angels and Lakers did it for me in 2002 and that was awesome.
However, I have to be honest. I don't see the Angels winning the title this season unless someone takes out Boston for them in the playoffs. Boston is just too much for the Angels to handle.
Yeah. Agreed. I'm not from Anaheim, and it takes me 30-45 minutes to get there. So what? The part that says Angels is all that matters right now.Originally Posted by OrangePuck
I also agree with you here. When we were down in Fenway earlier this season. We got our butt kicked 10-1, 8-0, and 7-2. I was so glad that one game was rained out that series (so that the Angels can regroup). Vlad did get hurt in that series though, if I remember that correctly... and I think that's how we lost 5 in a row. It's late now and I don't really want to check.Originally Posted by OrangePuck
But anyway, time will tell... because we have another 4 games series in Fenway later this season (including the rained out game) and 3 more at the Big A. So let's say we can take 4 out of 7 of games against them Red Sox, We will probably be in good shape come playoff time.
