What can you say about Vlad... I knew it was gone when the ball left the pitcher's hand. That guy served up a meatball. I'm fearing GA's return stalling the offense. Willits MUST STAY in that lineup somehow... 5.5 games up and rollin'!!

I dont thinks its the same at all. Im not a big fan of anything anaheim, but they do have and have had alot of character guys, unlike the ducks, guys from the past like erstad, percival, disarcina (sp?). And they have a much better history.Originally Posted by krudmonk

It really is still Vlad only with power. But Gary Matthews has been hitting extremely well in the clean-up spot. Napoli looks like he's finally waking up. The only problem I'm concerned about is Howie Kendrick. He's been swinging at the ugliest pitches ever since he came back from his injury.
True. Good question. I think though, the Angels just sent him back down to Triple A again. With Kotchman really healthy this year (not that it's a bad thing), Morales haven't really had a chance at playing this year.
Aybar is the one doing the pinch hitting. He is perfectly capable of starting in 2nd though, to get Howie to wake up.
