This is our 3rd series sweep of the season. 1st against Texas during opening week, then against Seattle 3 weeks later. Now the sweep in the freeway series.

Our 4th, if you count the small 2 game series wins over Tampa Bay. So far so good. Looks like our only tough opponent *so* far are the Red Sox. Oakland comes in a close second.

But with the way the Angels have been playing, I'm feeling good with them headed on the road against the Tigers and Yankees.

What a win last night!! Frankie ALMOST blew another.... Thank God for OC.!

There's talk about Garret "Rally Killer" Anderson returning soon... I HOPE that Mike Sciocia does not sit Reggie Willits. This kid's OBP is through the roof right now and he's been the sparkplug so far. I say Reggie stays in Left and Garret is our new DH... Shea has been HORRIBLE. Napoli is starting to come around so if the bottom half of the lineup begins to produce... LOOK OUT! 5.5 up now!

After a easy forgettable series against the Tigers, the Angels bounce back to crush the Yankees. Should have been 10-3, but crappy Carrasco gave up 3 runs in the 8th. Either way, I love how we always come up big against the Yankees.

Hell, even Figgy hit a homerun... lol

Garrett Anderson and Justin Speier are both rehabbing with the Quakes for at least part of this homestand.

Anderson was 0-3 yesterday against the IE 66ers on the power of the Dodgers Jason Schmidt whos in the IE on his own rehab stint.

Speier is coming back from his viral infection and is expected to pitch here tonight. His time here is listed as day to day depending on how he feels and looks tonight.
Jeremy Roenick: I liked Patrick's quote, (that) he would have stopped me. I wanted to know where he was in Game 3. He was probably getting his jock out of the rafters of the United Center.
Patrick Roy: I can't really hear what Jeremy says, because I've got my two Stanley Cup rings plugging my ears.

Sweet. Good news for both guys then for the most part. I wonder if GA is going to get the DH spot. There's no way Willits is going back to a sub/positional player... then again, who knows =x

I'll be at tomorrow night's game (June 1st) against the Orioles. Can't wait.

When GA is healthy, he likes to play defense. So we'll probably see Willits at DH and then he'll play the OF when GA or Vlad need to rest their legs.
