The squeeze was excatley what should have been called, Scioscia was taught by the master of the squeeze, Tommy.

Time to shift to the Kings and Lakers.

What's OrangePuck's excuse now for Vlad's annual playoffs suckage? Lack of "protection?" LMAO.

Vlad was fine this year, he actually showed up to play. He did have his protection, from Tex and Hunter.

Look at the batting percentage for our 3-4-5 guys. Absolutely amazing. The only problem was, they were hitting singles and not homeruns. So it didn't help when those 3 got on base, and everyone from 6, 7, 8, 9, 1, 2 were pathetic as hell. Plus, keep in mind that by the time Tex and/or Vlad got on base, it was already 2 outs most of the time because of Figgins and Anderson.

Just frustrating all around when those same people contributed all season long. I've never seen that many stranded runners on base. This doesn't even happen in the regular season because we didn't get on base twice as much as we did in the playoffs. Had the team had some hitting sense, we would win every game by 10+ runs against this Red Sox team.

I still can't believe what happened. This is truly unacceptable.

Aybar was just pathetic in every aspect of the game this series. I guess Izturis getting hurt was a bigger blow then we all originally thought. Wood has got to be the starting SS next year

I don't care that Aybar got the game winning hit in Game 3. He batted .111 this series. Anyone batting under .200 is completely unacceptable in the playoffs.

If Aybar knew how to *****ing bunt, there would be a game 5 right now.

A season of failure for the Angels. Just making the post-season these past few years is meaningless if you can't win the big one. With my luck, the ****ty Dodgers will win the World Series. Enjoy it Dodger fans.

Meanwhile, I'll focus my attention to the Kings and Lakers as baseball is dead to me now until Spring Training.
    Bitter, party of one...bitter...

Unless they are full of it, didn't the announcers say that Aybar was the best bunter the Angels had? Also, the pitch he got to bunt was a very well placed pitch, it could have gone foul but either way it was a hard pitch to bunt.

Moderators, I think this thread can be closed now
