McDonald, Hu, Lambo, Elbert. We have younger guys that will have more potential then these guys, but for next years rankings...i'll will probably have to go with McDonald.

I'd imagine that it will either be McDonald or DeJesus. DeJesus is having a big breakout year while McDonald is close to the majors and has looked good in at every level. Only knock on him is he's a bit older than other prospects(part of it is he converted back to being a pitcher from a position player).

Lambo is making a big jump, he'd be in the top 5.

Oh yea, forgot about De Jesus.

I'm looking forward to seeing Elbert pitch. He's had his battle with injuries, but I'm pulling for him to do well now that he's in the bigs.

Yea, I'm anxious to see what the long term plans are for Elbert. He said he "loves" the role his in right now, but I'd like to see if he can make it as a starter.

Yea it has to be the upside, since McDonald is basically MLB ready.

Michael (LA): Who are the top three prospects in the Dodgers system?

SportsNation Ben Badler: Andrew Lambo, James McDonald and Ivan DeJesus.

Craig (PA): I ask this every year, but will Scott Elbert ever be the prospect we once thought? Any chance of a decent career?

SportsNation Ben Badler: Scouts like him, but more as a bullpen arm than as a starter.

Mike (CA): I'd like to know a little bit about Anthony Delmonico. His numbers in rookie ball are hard to overlook. Is he legit?

SportsNation Ben Badler: Interesting bat but nobody likes him defensively, so that really dings him. But the word on the street is the Dodgers are thinking about converting him to catcher. He has some arm strength and some athleticism, and we're talking about the same organization that converted Russell Martin and Carols Santana, so that could make things very interesting.
