The #Dodgers have reach an agreement on a contract with Jon Garland.

Five legitimate starters! Nobody named Ortiz! Even if Kershaw is the only legit #1 guy on the staff, this is a solid bunch. Ely, Monestarios, Eveland, etc. can either be starting in Albuquerque and ready to fill in for the inevitable injury, or maybe they'll make the pen.

    Now, where's that second baseman?

Hmm, I like the fact that we now have 5 legitimate starters but we're still hurting in the pen and our everyday line up is still garbage.

If Ned can add some pop to the line-up(Dodgers were next to last in the NL in HRs) and find us at least one arm for the pen, it'll be a good off-season.

I can't believe the rotation is set and it's not even dec 1. A big bat would be sweet. Werth would look good in LF but doubt he comes back. Broxton would look good in another uniform but doubt he leaves.

Sources: Juan Uribe is closing in on a three-year deal with the Dodgers.

Confirming report by @Buster_ESPN. #Dodgers close with Uribe. Will be three years, $21 million.

Not a bad signing. Hope he's not the "big bat" the Dodgers are hell-bent on getting.

Ok, Uribe helps. Now, just get Werth to sign on the dotted line and we'll be good.
