After bud selig anounced that he will retire from baseball in 3 years. I want throw a name out there .Tommy Lasorda would be a great candidate his passion and knowledge of the game is amazing . How about Vinn Scully. Any thoughts anyone or other names

I love Tommy and all but seeing how his stint as GM went, I think he should stay in a ceremonial position. He should have a talk with the Kings before the playoffs too.
I would say Hammerin' Hank would be a great choice as well as Pat Gillick or John Schuerholz. Great baseball people with a great feel for the game.
I'm hoping Stultz elevates his game and makes it as a 5ft starter. I also think that Haeger guy can be solid too. Not all is lost but I'm not holding my breath. The Blue Crew need Bills and Kershaw to step it up and be a fantastic 1-2 punch, Ethier, Martin and Kemp to go superstar status and have the rest of the team to stay at their respective levels for this team to have any hope in the post season. Like I said, I'm not holding my breath.
OMG!! Brian Giles and Garret Anderson?? (And Gagne and Russ Ortiz) If we can come terms with Ron Gant or Ray Lankford we will be set.
