Frank McCourt is offered $1.2 billion for Dodgers - latimes.com

Frank McCourt is offered $1.2 billion for Dodgers
The all-cash bid comes from Bill Burke, founder of the L.A. Marathon, plus 'state-owned investment institutions of the People's Republic of China' and unidentified American investors, a letter sent to Frank McCourt says. Burke and a spokesman for McCourt have no comment.
    Boom goes the dynamite.

Here's the thing: at least with the Chinese investors, we KNOW they're good for the money. **** you, McCourt.

Let's all try to predict next year's Opening Day starting lineup!

    Me first:

    SS Dee Gordon
    1B James Loney
    CF Matt Kemp
    RF Andre Either
    LF Juan Rivera
    3B Juan Uribe
    C Rod Barajas
    2B Jamey Carroll

    I cannot wait!

I don't think they bring back the Singles Machines Loney, his deal is up I believe. Sands will probably be at 1st, unless we somehow bring Prince back to Cali...

C sigh..I guess Barajas..hoping Federowicz can make the team out of spring training...

I am hoping Sellers can make a shift over to third MAYBE...or perhaps DeJesus...it's not exactly a natural switch from 2nd/Short to 3rd.

I am ALSO hoping that instead of leaving those duties to a kid we can get a new owner in the offseason and make a push for someone like..I dunno..David Wright? for 3rd base. Mets have been meaning to offload salary since they seem to be planning on keeping Jose Reyes. David Wright is a damn good ball player and unfortunately will fall to the cutting room floor in Queens imo.

Look...if we can get a healthy starting rotation (Kershaw, De La Rosa, Eovaldi, Kuroda, Padilla....), Keep Loney hitting, and for gods sake...add to the ****ing bullpen.... it isn't a horrible team at all..I would actually consider it a playoff team.

    It's a lot of hope...but hey it's Dodger baseball...this isn't a team you root for without hope.
