I need this stupid preseason to end, because I am done with the Angels always beating the Dodgers in the preseason, and my dumb friends who are Angels fans acting like they can talk...

It's possible they could look to deal him, hard to imagine they'll be able to commit long-term to both Kemp and Ethier. Both are eligible for free agency after 2012 and will likely command $15 mill plus per year to lock up, maybe more. I can definitely see a scenario where the Dodgers try to lock one up after this season, and then look to deal the other. In this case, if Ethier is already considering going elsewhere, Kemp may be more likely to sign long-term. Also, Kemp is represented by Dave Stewart, who just got a deal done for Bilingsley.

I like Andre, people I know who work for the Dodgers say he's far and away one of the best people to wear a Dodgers uniform in recent history. Would like to think he wants to be in LA for the long haul, but hard to tell what goes through players' minds. Maybe a new owner will have the resources to offer both Kemp and Ethier the type of deals that will make them forgo free agency??
