Mattingly is so ****ing stubborn and stupid and won't accept the fact the bunting in most situations DECREASES your odds of winning. Forget all the advanced statistics, why the **** would not want 3 outs to work with instead of 2? Which provides you the best opportunity to win there, Donnie?

Not to mention it was A.J. Ellis who, among other things, sees the most pitches per at bat in the NL, has been at the top of the leader board in OBP all year, consistently gives quality at bats, and had just hit what was on its way to being the most important home run of the season. And you take the ****ing bat out of his hands?

Fire Mattingly and hire Acta. At least he understands how things like "the more guys you have on base the better chance you have to score runs" and "giving your team the most and best opportunities to win" work.
