There has to be some behind the scenes stuff going on. Too many smart, very rich men are involved. Doesn't makes sense why they would keep McCourt involved on any level. The dude is a snake. I have to give him credit though. He manages to fall up.
I wish he didn't keep a share in the parking lots, but still I'm glad the team is out of his hands. Still though, 2.15 billion dollars, incredable it went for that much.
Seeing the sale price, I can see them building a new Downtown Dodger Stadium on AEG's dime and AEG building a football stadium at Dodger Stadium seeing how iirc, it was the NFL's preferred site. Otherwise I just don't see how this makes any financial sense.
And anyone being in business with Frankie Mac needs to have their head examined.
Let him keep the parking lots. I'll be taking the trolley this season, anyway!
