As nice as Dewitt has been, you do not give up on LaRoche and create Paul Konerko part deux based on a month and a half of success.
Perfect world...both guys are in the lineup. But how?

Tony Jackson says Andruw Jones had an MRI done on his knee and might have surgery.
Dodgers 6, Reds 5 - Inside the Dodgers
Are you suggesting we pull out the red hot DeWitt to give La Roche a shot?
Let's do a little comparison thus far into the season.....
La Roche in 35 games last year:
93 AB
16 Runs
21 Hits
5 Doubles
0 Triples
1 HR
10 RBI
24 SO
.365 OBP
.226 AVG
DeWitt in 37 games this year:
115 AB
21 Runs
37 Hits
6 Doubles
2 Triples
4 HR
23 RBI
15 SO
.391 OBP
.322 AVG
Sorry, it just isn't logical to give La Roche a shot IF it means sitting DeWitt.
For now there's no way you can pull DeWitt. If he cools off, then it becomes an option.
Being able to shift DeWitt over to 2B to replace Kent next year would be money.
