Then keep Maza and Hu when Furcal is activated, make Sweeney the #5 outfielder for a few weeks, and fix Andruw. It doesn't make sense to have him postpone surgery from which he could be recovered by the all-star break just so he can continue to play hurt all year and be useless in September. I would say October but it's not looking good at this point.
As for the #5 starter, Park and Kuo have shown they can tread water (plus Schmidt or Loaiza when they are healthy) until Kershaw is actually ready - there's no need for Edwin Jackson part 2.
Kershaw MIGHT be called up...
Inside the Dodgers
Kershaw to start Sunday-Inside the Dodgers
I would really rather wait till later in the year but I guess the Dodgers know a lot better than me.
and if anybody missed this nice story on DeWitt hometown hero
Jones strikes out on a down and away slider with tying run on third and 2 outs.
Who didn't see that **** coming?
Anyway, thanks to Stubhub, I bought my tickets for Sunday. 104 Loge. I'll either get Bills or the debut of Kershaw. Sounds ****ing awesome!
Hell yeah Kershaw!
And more good news: Loaiza has been DFA.
here is the link
I'm usually a patient Dodger fan and I was hoping Jones would turn it around by the beginning of June and thats not looking likely, Ned keeps screwing the pooch with his FA signings
