Braves re-signed Hudson, and now having starting pitching to spare. Vazquez would be ideal, but the Braves would want a lot in return.
So how about this deal, Pierre for Lowe? Braves are very thin in the OF, and have no speed in their lineup (Matt Diaz led the team with 12 SB). They are absolutely looking to dump Lowe's salary, and it's no secret he pitched his best years in LA. If ATL would throw in a couple million to make the salaries a little closer, this might be a decent match??
Of course the McCourt saga likely means Ned will be in cost-cutting mode, but if it's business as usual I think this is one of the few matches for Pierre out there.
