Twins, Dodgers close in on Blake

I'd be happy to have the Dodgers sign Blake.

I'd pass. Blake got worse as the season went on and he wasn't very good to begin with. Not to mention he's 35 and his skills are deteriorating.

Since we're so thin in the infield he may seem like an attractive option but committing money to him for more than a year is a waste.

So whats your plan at 3rd? Dewitt played very well at second, and I'd keep him there. Beltre is an option, I wouldn't mind having him back.

I'd just play DeWitt at third. DeWitt was ok at 2nd, he wans't anything special. His bat plays better there but over the course of a 162 game season I think we'll see his defense suffer at 2B.

You mention Beltre as an option, he is but he's not a free agent. I wouldn't mind him back but it depends on the package going Seattle's way.

I was cheering like a mad man when Blake hit the go-ahead home run. What a feeling.







And after all that, I'd be pissed if the Dodgers re-signed him, especially at anything more than 1 year.

Tony? Man good question. He's probably still hurt. Just checked this site that shows what our guys are doing in winter ball and he's not listed.
