From Keith Law
Max (Norfolk): Mr. KLaw- Can you think of a good reason why the Dodgers didn't offer arbitration to Furcal? What was the worst that could happen? He accepts and they pay him $10-14 million for one season while DeJesus Jr. and Hu develop another year?
SportsNation Keith Law: Not a great decision - the limited PT for Furcal this year would work against him in arb - but there wasn't a draft pick at stake either, so it's not an awful decision like Chicago/Wood, Yanks/Abreu, or Arizona/Dunn.
Didn't know about the draft pick.
10 bucks says Manny signs a deal with some random team like Detroit or Seattle.
Yea, I don't see Manny being back with us next season
Buster, why the **** would we trade any of those guys for Robinson Cano?Originally Posted by Buster Olney

And Olney doesn't address why the Dodgers, already short on starting pitchers, would trade one of their prized starters for a 2B!! Just another ESPN article meant to get the attention of Yankees fans.
