Another veteran catcher to back up Martin. Ausmus can't hit but there's not that many backup catchers that can. I'm alright with this signing. By all accounts Ausmus is a good guy and he can help take care of the staff.

I don't mind the Ausmus signing, good veteran presence, great defense, and had a better average than Andruw Jones last year!

That was some of the funniest **** I ever saw. Those rainbow tosses after standing up, taking 3 steps (making sure to cross home plate) and then, rain-bow-ing-the-ball-up-up-down-down-down to the pitcher.

Hit me up if you are interested in joining my LA Dodgers season ticket group. 2 Loge seats and parking for 10 games at $1150 or so.

If this part is true I'm not sure who is dumber. Houston's front office for offering this deal or Wolf for turning it down.

Randy turned down much bigger offers last time he came home to LA, so this may be one of those rare times when a team gets a true hometown deal from a player.

Right, he must really love LA/Socal then. Because there is no way a guy with his injury past/talent level will get a 3 year deal from anywhere.

To be honest since Rosenthal wrote that I am a bit skeptical that the Astros offered that. Houston's front office has been fairly dumb lately though so it is very possible.
