There's no way I'd offer a guy who's coming off a groin problem, back surgery, a torn elbow muscle, a hamstring injury, a shoulder strain and a torn finger tendon in the past 4 years a multi-year deal.

The thing is, teams are desperate for pitching help (see Carlos Silva's contract) and Sheets is a much better pitcher than Wolf. There is no way he gets a one year prove it type deal.
