    I think Manny will sit on it for a bit and then take it. Hard to turn down that kind of money and if he has another monster year who knows, he could get a bigger pay day if the economy gets any better.

    I agree too, I bet we could even get Dunn and Sheets for that 25 million+a few more.

    The Dodgers have had contact with the agent for free-agent second baseman Orlando Hudson, but General Manager Ned Colletti said he "absolutely" still considers Blake DeWitt his second baseman.

    The Dodgers could find themselves in a bind if Ramirez receives a multi-year offer from another club. If Ramirez is offered what he considers a fair deal, sources close to him say that he wouldn't grant the Dodgers a chance to match it, forcing the Dodgers to go into spring training without their only star attraction and reliable run producer.

    The deal is expected to be in the $5.5 million range and also will include incentives.

    Randy Wolf signed a one-year contract today worth $4 million plus a $1 million signing bonus. He'll be paid $500,000 each for pitching 170, 180, 185, 190, 195 and 200 innings.
