Schmidt... if that guy has one productive inning this year I'll be shocked.

You know what really sucks about this offseason? If the Dodgers don't sign Manny I'll have to watch:
    1. Juan Pierre ground out to second 3 times a game, or;
    2. Adam Dunn strike out 3 times a game.

I dunno. I'm beginning to wonder whether the Dodgers need to grow some ****ing juevos and just make another multi-year offer to Manny.

Sometimes, a ballclub has to take a risk or two in order to make a serious run. Is this one of those times?

As I said, I'm beginning to wonder.

But... at least it'll be one walk, one HR, and 3 strikeouts.

If Manny wasn't such a huge flaky nutjob, I might wonder as well.

I seem to be one of the few who's seriously afraid of his history of selfish bizarreness.

Yes, Manny is unstable at best. BTW anybody else going to AZ for spring training?

We all know he's unstable. I'm just saying, there comes a time when you've gotta take a risk or two as the owner of a baseball franchise. Yeah, Colletti's risks haven't exactly panned out with other big-name free agents, but you've gotta admit that Manny is a very different case.

This is crazy, I read posts that talk about Manny being "flaky". In the month which he supposedly quit on the Red Sox he was raking.

I hear about him being "selfish", is that really that big of a deal? Manny wants to get paid, how is this different from everyone else.

I've underestimated the Boston media, they've done a fine job of painting Manny as the uber bad guy.

The only issue I have with Manny regarding a long term deal is the potential of him being a statue in LF in a few years, right now he is adequate. Other than that I have no issues with giving Manny a 2 year deal.

I don't get this talk about Manny and this supposed instability, he has consistently performed at an extremely high level for basically the last decade. I have no problems paying this guy

Ding ding ding, we have a winner. If the Dodgers were an AL team this discussion probably wouldn't be happening. Give him 5/100 and everyone would be happy.

Except me. I hate the AL.

The Washington Nationals have agreed to a preliminary deal with 29-year-old free agent Adam Dunn, a signing that would fulfill their offseason-long search for a left-handed power hitter.

Looks like it's Manny or nothing for the Dodgers.

Who knows if this clown knows anything but we haven't heard many rumors lately

Look out for the Dodgers - Valley Sports - EastValleyTribune.com

Don’t be surprised if the Dodgers not only sign Manny Ramirez but Orlando Hudson as well.
