Kemp still can't hit the off speed stuff.

Lowe is pitching a good game and there are two outs but I don't know about letting him hit in a run one game in the bottom of the 7th.

Well I guess it worked out.

I don't like second guessing but Grady had some weird ones. Letting Lowe hit with Pierre on was an odd one even though it worked out.

I probably would have pinch hit Saenz for Abreu. I understand why he let Abreu hit/saved Saenz but Saenz kills lefties and that was our best chance to win the game. Ah well, can't pin this one on the manager to be honest.

I don't know, boys. I'm not happy. We need a boost. Something. Juggling lineups worked last season, but this is a different team. An aging & unbalanced squad of speed & veteran experience - all without power.
Furcal got hot last season after he was sent to the 8th spot but I don't see Pierre reacting the same way. Furcal looks to be playing at about 75% with that ankle and I'm not so sure he should be doing that.

At this point, I would expect Ned to do something about our inept offense. Hopefully, he has enough cojones to pull it off because this **** ain't cuttin' it. A performance like that for Lowe and his third straight CG loss is unacceptable.

Furcal neer batted 8th last season. He batted 7th 5 times and 9th 3 times. I don't think that was any kind of wake up call to him. He started to hit because he's a good hitter and we was eventually going to hit for his usual average.

Pierre isn't going to react the same way because he's not a good hitter and his skills are diminishing.

Girls' Night at Dodger Stadium for me.

We went to watch Luc play in the Hollywood Stars softball game and with us, we had a Kings blanket, which we dangled over the railing and were cheering Luc on whenever he came to bat. We were shown on the Diamond Vision twice! Fun times!

Until the Dodgers gave Derek Lowe 0 run support...squandered 2 bases loaded opportunities...

Seriously, I lost count how many fouled outs there were!

I was wondering why Kemp started over Ethier when Vinny made it excessively clear that this Markum guy kills righties.
