I was sitting in the reserve section... I really thought Loney had a head injury. also when he hit the wall, you could hear the crash. Glad he's okay...

What a load of crap. I don't believe in karma.

I was sitting in Loge 152 today, I knew Loney was in a world of hurt as soon as I heard the LOUD bang generated from him crashing into that idiotic screen in the outfield wall... the only bad karma needs to go towards whoever gave the green light to those things being installed.

Bet you'd trade that for the Dodgers 2nd place in the West and missing the playoffs? At best.

Meh. The Dodgers either win the whole thing or they don't. Miss the playoffs, lose in the NLDS, NLCS, or WS... going farther in the postseason isn't going to mean much without a ring.

Cardinals won 83 games last year, then got hot and won the World Series. Get me to the playoffs any which way and I'll take my chances from there.

I don't see what the big deal is.
The Padres only need to have a winning record against the Dodgers and they've had a good season in their minds.
The Angels still have a complex about being the "second" team in a major market even though they've won a World Championship since the Dodgers have.
Both of those organizations are the red headed step children of the Dodger franchise.
The Dodgers simply don't care about either of those teams. Success for them is measured in two ways. (other than the usual 3 million tickets sold)
Beat the Giants
Make the playoffs (lord knows they can't win in them)
On a side note a friend of mine (a not very smart one mind you) wore an Angels shirt in the right field pavillion on Friday night. It's amazing how many things will get thrown at you when the food is free. He also witnessed Do-yers fans talking **** on girls that were wearing Angels gear. No wonder I haven't paid to go to the "Ravine" in years, get some class Dodger fans.

I think its probably worse out there in the pavillions and in the upper decks with the cholos, but if you pay a little over $20 bucks per ticket you get pretty decent seats with some classier folk.
