Benches cleared. No punches.
Saddler did a little too much celebrating on the mound about that K against Blake. Blake took exception and so did Kemp as he walked off the field from third. Then SF's bench coach tried to get up in Kemp's grill about it.
Props to Kemp, sticking up for his teammate.
Nice win for us tonight. I hate going into the playoffs on a full on losing skid. I guess the question remains- what to do with Maddux? About whether he'd be on the roster for the playoffs, Maddux said
"Whatever," the modest Mad Dog said. "Bullpen's better than no pitch. Bullpen's better than going home. ... Absolutely, I still want to pitch. I still feel like I can pitch."
"He's remarkable," Dodgers manager Joe Torre. "I've watched and admired him from across the field. Tonight was, you could say, vintage."
Hong-Chih Kuo is off the playoff roster for the NLDS. He was tested for circulation problems after he experienced numbness in his fingers warming up last night, and will head to Arizona to pitch in the instructional league in case the Dodgers need him later on.

Last game of the regular season and Nomar is the manager for the the day.
That was a sick play by Loney.
Gold Glove or no?
Not yet. Some day though. I just hope it's as a Dodger.
