Why would that make the Angels have to include cash then?Originally Posted by TooCool
I want protection for Vlad but I don't want the Angels dropping $15-20 million per season on some lard ass with obvious discipline problems. If he can continue to hit at the pace he has been hitting in the NL against superior AL pitching AND doesn't mind being a DH half the time then I can live with it. However, these things often end bad.
He's only 24 and listed at 6'2" 210lbs. I call BS. One look at him and he's easily in the 250+ range. Only way he's below 250 is if he isn't 6'2". If he can't stay in shape at the age of 24 (weren't we all in great shape at that age) what the hell is he going to look like and perform like when he pushes 30? The age when ball players start getting naturally bigger. I'm just uneasy about it that's all.
Dude needs to lay off the ****ing burritos.
My sister will be happy about this..
She complained Each and EVER time he came up to bat.
this makes me feel a little bit better about things

Garland isn't that good. Orlando was nothing special. Kind of like trading in your 98 Tacoma for a 97 Civic. One has more room to haul ****, one gets better gas mileage, neither will get you laid.
