    Year after year? Which standings are you looking at, JB?

    2007 - Padres finish ahead.
    2006 - Tied
    2005 - Padres finish ahead
    2004 - Dodgers win west.
    2003 - Dodgers finish ahead.
    2002 - Dodgers finish ahead.
    2001 - Dodgers finish ahead.
    2000 - Dodgers finish ahead.
    1999 - Dodgers finish ahead.

    I'm looking at the last three where we finished ahead. And the Pads didn't 'tie' the Dodgers in 2006, they finished ahead of them because they won the season series.

    2008 - The Padres will win the NL WEST (ahead of the Dodgers for the fourth year in a row.
