Default Padres Win the West! (LOL, jk... Peavy to White Sox)

Padres agree to trade Jake Peavy to White Sox - MLB - SI.com

Peavy has full no-trade power and the trade will be entirely his call
Peavy's agent said that Peavy prefers "Middle America,'' so that should work

In the off season he said he wanted to stay in the National league and would only accept going to the Cubs or the Braves. This might intrigue him enough to consider though.

For four unnamed players. Now if Peavy can only DH and hit like an all star the days he doesn't pitch the Sox are in business. Their offense is brutal.

Yea, I remember reading that he really likes hitting. Losing sucks though, I think he'll make the move.

From what I heard on the ol' Sportscenter this morning, didn't sound like Peavy was ready to pull the trigger on this yet. He wants to stay in the National League, and he doesn't want to risk losing out on a chance on going to a team more in his favor a month or so down the line.

If Peavy accepts the trade, there'll be officially no reasons left to attend Padres-Dodgers games.

well we'll always have a reason to get together and argue over which jersey Steve Garvey's arms looked cooler in.
