No wonder the champagne celebration was way over the top, more than usual. That's ridiculous. That's all they want. Who cares about the World Series title?

Couldn't be more pissed right now.
I'm right there with you buddy. I had a bad feeling when after they clinched they went to Texas and got swept. They could have had home field advantage against NY if they had played well till then end, instead they get rolled by Boston.

Hopefully we can now get rid of Stoneman for not getting this team what it has needed for 3 ****ing years...protection for Guerrero. Look at Boston and Ortiz/Ramierez, we could have that here in Anaheim if Stoneman would do his ****ing job.

Ummm.....I guess the best team ERA in the American League doesn't count for much? Behind Beckett, there are question marks in the rotation, and the bullpen looked a little tired at the end of the season, but it is a quality pitching staff with a quality pitching coach.

My point was they are not as good as the Angels are making them look. 2-16 with runners in scoring position says it all. Wait, Vladdy just flew out. Make that 2-17.

Heh, San Diego, Anaheim, Chicago, and Philly all have the same # of playoff wins this year as the Dodgers. The Yankees might get added to that list as well. It sure makes me feel better.

Angels nearly had the same # of playoff runs scored as the Dodgers as well.

Things don't look as good when you look at playoff appearances since 1989 now does it?

Jeter could drop the easiest pop fly in Yankee Stadium, and they still wouldn't give him an error.
