Default The Quintessential Baseball Postseason Thread

Some great matchups, particularly in the AL.

Of course there's a one game playoff first. Tommorow Pads and Rockies. The game is in Colorado but the distinct advantage goes to the Pads with Peavy on the hill while the Rockies counter with Josh Fogg.

Anyways, it's bad news for the Padre fans, even if they win, I'm guessing they couldn't pitch Peavy till at least game 2 right?

Should be a fun post season.

Can't wait for it to start. Hopefully the Angels can take the split the series in Boston and take care of business back here at home.

Yankees/Indians should be interesting. The Yankees have always beaten the Indians, so the psychological edge is definitely there for the Yankees.

D-Backs/Cubs... eh. I personally don't want to see the Cubs win. Loveable losers or not, I want them to keep losing in our time period.

Philles oddly enough have a better regular season head-to-head against the Padres. I'd personally like to see the Rockies play the Phillies. But I'm also kinda pulling for former Angel Pitching coach Bud Black.

Should be exciting, though I hate how TBS has "rights" to air the Division Series.

If Fogg were pitching in Dodger Stadium I'd say he goes 7 scoreless.

I'm rooting for the Cubs and the Indians.

Peavy sure has a history of tanking in big games.

    Top 2, 2-0 Rockies.
