Like for instance, I'm 23. Born in 1984. If I were a Dodgers fan, I would have been around in 1988 during their World Series win. I'd be 4 years old, and knew nothing about baseball back then at that age.
Even as a Lakers fan. The great showtime years was in the 80s. I did not watch basketball then. I do love my Lakers for winning their championships, but I can only say I've been through 3 of them in the 2000 era.
I became a Laker fan back during the 1992-1993 season, and it was definitely dreadful. But when I personally "trash talk" so to speak... I don't brag about the championships before my time.
Unless you guys are seriously 100+ something years old, then brag away!
But the argument can never end... and I guess that is what's fun about it. Angels fans are happy because their team has been in contention for 4-5 years in a row now. Dodger fans are happy because their team has more history. Nobody wins out of this situation. The best thing to do is to drop it before people start flaming each other.
BTW. SuxBeingU. What about the soda from the fountain? Or should people just stick to the ones in bottles? =x
