No question he's the best player in baseball, but last time I checked, baseball is a team sport. David Ortiz is a great player, but look at all of the support he got in the World Series for his teamates.

Wow those Texas Rangers sure were good when the best player in baseball (A-Rod) played there.

Same deal with the Kobe, great player, not the best team guy.

It must be Boras's fault also that we converted Gagne from a starter to a closer.

I don't think he was involved in that one. Was he even Gagne's agent at the time? I don't know that Boras would have been interested in a crappy starter until he became a star.

Doesn't make much sense since Boras always represents a ton of unproven prospects prior to the draft.
