Why would you blame him for trying to maximize his players' value considering they're employing him?
A player agent used his huge power to bully the Dodgers into making a bad decision because it meant he got more money and more power. It hurt his client and it hurt the team. I blame him for that.
Then there's the fact the team gave in, which is the best way to ensure a bully will remain a bully. This leads us back to my original point, which is that I'd like to see some teams stand up to him once in a while.
I don't see it happening any time soon though.
