They also just talked about it on the World Series..
Then they showed John Henry (the Sox owner) on his blackberry... Maybe he was looking that up so he can go after him?

    A-Rod... attention whore.

Opting out during the clinching game near the final innings of the World Series.

next year A-Rod will make as much money as the entire payroll of the lowest payroll NHL team.

    How is that for perspective?!?!

Boston fans must be loving that they are in the 8th inning of the clinching game of their second WS in four years and they STILL can't avoid hearing about the ****ing Yankees.

I think they're too busy with that whole World Series thing...

Boston will almost certainly pursue him, as they have the payroll and have a hole at 3B with Lowell hitting the FA market. I'd also imagine both Los Angeles teams and Houston will be in the hunt, and possibly the Cubs if A-Rod might consider moving back to shortstop

I would put the early money on the Angels. Don't see Boston going after him. He can get you to the postseason, he can't do anything once he gets there. Boston can get there w/o spending 15-20M a season. Lowell can be had for far less adn IMO he would rather stay in Boston.
