It's a very sad day. I'll miss his play by play for Angels games. Gone too young and too early. Games won't be the same anymore. RIP Rory!!!

I had hoped the Dodgers could lure him away once Vin eventually rides off into the sunset...
Even though I'm a Dodgers fan (a diehard one to be honest with you guys) I'm truly sorry to hear that he's passed on.

As a long time Angel fan, he was the one that I truly considered the "voice of the Angels". I was very excited to have him as the full time tv guy, it won't be the same but "just another halo victory" will live on in the hearts of Angel fans
Light up the halo for him. Rest in peace.

He was just about to have his first full year as the TV PBP announcer. I wonder who's going to replace him.

I did not find out until now, I had just finished watching some TV and Fox 11 just said it at the start of their broadcast.
I'm truly sadden to hear about this news. He had just gotten promoted to be on TV full time as well. Ugh.
