I watched Franklin Stubbs throw a guy out at home on a single bounce from the outfield warning track one game. No way Loney has that kinda arm.

Loney is a very good defensive first baseman. He's hit well and with some power in previous seasons, and his bat has come alive pretty well this month.

At the 7/31deadline, NedCo had a deal on the table with Loney going to San Diego for Adrian Gonzalez & Heath Bell. San Diego wanted more prospects but NedCo said no.

Who knows, maybe this will be an offseason trade.

Loney is getting hot at the right time.

From what I recall, there was much more to that proposed deal from our end. Gonzalez is waaaaay further ahead than Loney.

That deal included Martin and three of the top five Dodgers prospects, as well, from what I had heard.

I want home field advantage... we've got to stay ahead of St. Louis!

Dodgers in DC tonight, but the forecast shows rain for the next three days.

I think I'll watch on TV.
