I would have picked Josh Hamilton, id rather have gone with youkilis if i had to go with a red suck.

Rangers weren't anywhere near the playoffs. Good season but wasn't going to happen for him. Youkilis was neck-and-neck with Pedroia in my mind for Boston's MVP. Played great on either side of the diamond in addition to being so productive at the plate.

Nobody really stood out, so it was a perfect storm for Pedroia. Minnesota missed out on the postseason, so Mauer or Morneau would have been a tough vote.
