It's pathetic and it's gotten way out of hand.

There's nothing wrong with a little good ol' fashioned heckling when someone wears a rival's jersey, but a perfect example is last year a bunch of jackasses in my section started shouting personal insults, throwing crap, threatening, and almost actually fighting a guy for standing up and cheering his team. And then he ended up being ejected from the stadium. Wonderful security.

The worst part is, the guy was wearing a &$%ing Indians jersey, for crying out loud! That's about as far from a rivalry as you can get.

I won't even get into what happened around this time last year when I went to a Dodgers/Giants game with my brother and he had his Giants hat on... Again, nothing wrong with a little harmless heckling (Booooo, your team sucks, etc), but you shouldn't actually feel physically threatened like people do at each and every game nowadays. It really is sad that you can't just go watch a baseball game in peace, like you can with a hockey game.

Truly ironic considering how different the sports are...

I enjoy going to the Latrine when the Cubs come in. (luckily I didn't make it to any of the post-season games last year though)

There are generally more Cubs fans than there are Doyer fans in attendance. It's actually rather funny to hear the fans scream "Doyers" during Take Me Out To The Ball Game in an effort to drown out the Cubs fans saying "Cubbies".

Maybe we should do away with general seating, and put the visiting fans in their own section, and parking lot, like they do in England with their soccer teams

well, most people who go to a baseball game to get drunk just use it as an excuse to get drunk somewhere other than their garage/bar/park/etc.

Not real baseball fans, just a bunch of fools who can't hold their liquor.

Hmm, honestly never noticed this, must be where you were sitting. They may be in bigger groups since they are a popular team, but definitely not more overall. Thats for sure.

Not taking anything away from Cubs fans here, but I have to agree with TBrown here... Sure, a lot of Cubs fans come out, but they come nowhere close to the amount of Dodger fans (well, people in Dodger shirts/jerseys anyway) that are there every game.

I was surprised how few Giants fans were at the game yesterday, I guess it was due to opening day and all the season seat holders actually used their tickets.

Pssshh.....we ritualistically slaughter large groups of Yankees fans when they make the trek to Fenway, and they do the same to Boston fans in the Bronx. It's all part of the fun!

Yeah, but... I bet the slaughterees and the slaughterers and slaughterettes are probably all white...

    That's okay.

The problem with the Dodgers and the world, in general, are the Mexicans.

    P.S. - Go Doyers!
