que onda!
The only times ive been to a baseball game when I wouldnt be shocked to see a stabbing is when the Dodgers are in town to play the Dbacks.
Dodger fans are the Raider fans of the MLB.
really, Raider fans of MLB?
wasn't it Phillies fans that threw f***ing batteries at JD Drew, or something?
First Off, Dodger Fans need to go on a MAJOR diet. Some of the Cha-Cha's had enough rolls to make a bakery. The Dodger fans are the fattest of any sports team. YUCK!
It is sick, that you get crap thrown all over you if you wear anything affliated with another team. No respect. The funny thing is I like to see the pussy Dodger fans do this if they were in Philly, Boston, or NY.
Lastly, I was there early. It was pretty festive before the gates opened. But once they opened...the idiots left their bottles and trash right in the roadway. That is the main reason why they should ban alcohol. Too many stupid people. They F*** it up for all of us who really want to have 10 beers and enjoy the game.
i went to dodger stadium once last year where i had my only encounter with a drunk fan there ever. some asian girl was running around trying to get away from her boyfriend and she ran right into me. didn't even say sorry, of course. then she went back to him and belligerently yelled at him in a high pitched squeaky, whiny voice. i got annoyed at having been run into so i told him next time he shouldn't let her drink so much and she started yelling at me, but i walked away.
i didn't know there were so many other drunk ass****s at the ball games. :-/
I wore my Braves jersey to a game a few years ago, and I started to get the beer treatment around the 5th inning. Funny story...around the 8th inning, when Adam LaRoche hit a grandslam to give the braves the lead, i started cheering pretty wildly. A guy from a few rows up throws a beer at me, but misses, and instead hits one of the homies in the row above me. Long story short, about a 6 person brawl broke out between a bunch of vatos who were all wearing dodger jerseys.
I haven't returned to Chavez Ravine to watch the Braves since then. I prefer to just head down to San Diego to watch them face the Padres...
Its unfortunate that 70% of Dodger fans ruin it for the 30% that are good, civil, true baseball fans.
I went to a game a couple years ago against the padres. Got yelled at because I had a UCSD shirt on.
Sat field level by the padres bullpen for fun. Didn't mind the occasional heckles, as I was having a fun conversation with trevor hoffman, until a glass bottle shattered on the seat next to me. Looked up and saw a guy that had thrown it from the loge level. He and two of his buddies (while I hate to stereotype, were prototypical "somos unos vatos locos" looking types) started swearing at me in spanish, flashing gang signs, and warning they would be waiting for me in the parking lot.
Joyful joy, we are joyous.
