I'm taking my girlfriend to tomorrow's game. Paid $90 for 2 great, 6th row Loge seats near the plate. Hey, I wish I lived in a world where I didn't have to pay that much to go to the Stadium and enjoy a game, hassle and trouble-free. Truth be told, I'd only sit in the pavillion if I was with my older brother EVEN THOUGH I've been to the Stadium maybe over 100x in my life and have NEVER ONCE been in an altercation, been provoked or otherwise threatened.Quote:

Unless Wile E. has made some racist statements in the past, it is a pretty big stretch to equate pointing out that fan behaviour is reminiscent of Raider fans behaviour to bigotry and racism. Who knows what is in the heart of anyone, but I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt until I see or hear something incontrovertable. To me, it is such a serious charge that using it in cases where it is unclear if it actually fits cheapens it and muddys the water of which party, if any, is guilty of the charge.Quote:

Ive never been to Dodger Stadium, so I can only apply my formula to what I typically see at Chase Field. Im sure Dodger Stadium, in spite of the stabbings, reports of people with guns, and 30 person brawls, is much better than what I see in Phx.

Let's also keep in mind that Opening day was a sellout. There were probably 20K cars in the parking lots. At $15 dollars a piece, that's $300,000 thousand dollars. How much money would it cost to put the infrastructure in place to have cameras in the parking lots, so that these guys can get caught(and deter the ones on the fence). How many home-dates to they need to sell to fulfill this order? My guess is 10 home-dates and you can fund the capital and appropriate staff to keep it running for at least 3 years.Quote:

I've never been to a road Red Sox game, but I would venture a guess that people are more obnoxious when traveling on the road. Some people just like to be seen, and from what I've seen on broadcasts, we have plenty of asshats.
Yankees games aside, the crowd at Fenway is actually pretty tame on opposing fans, and I've had a chance to sit in the bleachers.
WRONG! there were 13,000 cars and not the 20,000 you have proclaimed. The Cholos have to get the piece pipe out and share it. Otherwise, there will be no drinking period. Also, Seraphim tell the cholos to quit leaving their beer bottles and trash in the roadway. Lastly, tell them to go to Jenny Craig or NutriSystem. A LOT of them eat way too much. Oh and I forgot tell the girls to quit wearing tight shirts, I hate see all those rolls of fat jiggling all over when they walk up and down the rows.Quote:
