I'm not much of a baseball fan... so I got to know... does this kind of thing bug baseball fans?
If a list like this came out for the NHL I would be ****ing livid.
I doubt it would make me stop being a fan of the league... but **** I would have to think about it long and hard.

I think baseball fans are kinda jaded to it now. 90% of the names on the list were not surprising at all.
I've seen the list picked apart a few times...with probably the biggest red flag being that there are no St. Louis Cardinals considering "The Enabler" managing the team.

I've always not given a damn as long as everyone realizes that the field is still more-or-less fair and we shouldn't be hypocrites about it. If these guys want to roid themselves up and jack 800 foot homeruns and throw 120 mph changeups then let them. If their balls shrink and the tumors grow, well...let them decide if it was worth it. And if someone wails about not thinking about the children, maybe we should make the parents be parents for once.

One other thing is that there seems to be a distinct lack of fringe players and no Jeremy Giambi.
No one from that list was a surprise.
