Teixeira to the Angels?

I have been singing the Team America song ever since this trade went down "F Yeah!" This is a huge upgrade. I liked Kotchman and he is a good player but he is not an All Star. He gets injured frequently (and strangely) He might hit close to .300 some day, will never hit more than 25 home runs in a season nor drive in 100. He is a Gold Glove but so is Teixiera I think. Tex is a switch hitting power guy. He will strike out more but has so much more pop in his bat. Even if he gets hurt and doesn't play more than 1 inning, this was a deal the Angels needed to make.

It hurts me to say it, but that's a great deal for Anaheim.

They may of had the worst offense, however now with Tex and their pitching, I believe they have what it takes to win it all. That lineup is strong. They have always folded in the playoffs because of their hitting. Now they have someone to take the load off the other hitters. I am not a huge fan of baseball, however, this Angels team should win it all.

It should also be mentioned that the Angels have finally started playing Rivera over Matthew's worthless ass which is a pretty big upgrade offensively
