Do what you want, kid. But when you get behind the wheel of a car and smoke something that slows reaction time and changes the way you make decisions, you're endangering other people. Period. Misdemeanor ain't enough in this case. That's DUI.

From what I've read, I don't think he was smoking it or under the influence at the time... He was just in possession.

I'm wondering if (and admittedly hoping that ) the MLB drug testing folks woke him up nice and early this morning.

Smelled it? I'll admit, I've not had a whole lot of experience with the ganja (party in Mexico when I retire!!), but can you smell it for extended periods after it's been consumed via pipe?

The sentence above led me to believe that he was smokin' it, but I guess the fact that he wasn't arrested says other things. If he was under the influence, he should face DUI charges. Simple possession is another matter altogether.
