I just wish the Red Sox and Yankees could play 162 games against each other. Then they could play for the World Series too. I only see them on ESPN so those must be the best two teams ever and currently and in the future.

Those fans admit they are not hardcore fans? Are you serious? I thought you were here to state the facts. I'd love to see where you got that info from. And that anemic offense has been good enough to give them the best record in the league at the break. In case you've never watched baseball, pitching and defense win in this league. Notice how the Yankees haven't sinffed the series in so many years?
Why don't you stop by sometime soon and I'll help you celebrate the 20 year anniversary of a Dodger world series. I will give you this though, Dodger fans truly are hardcore to be showing up to watch the crap baseball played in the NL West and Andruw strike out 5x a night.
Every team has its ups and downs.
The Angels have been a really good team the last 8 years or so.
But let's not get crazy and start comparing what these teams have done over the last 50 or 48 (in the Angels' case).
Recent success does not disqualify which team has achieved more in their history. The Dodgers' greater fanbase is a credit to their past greatness and past successes. Look at the Yankees for Christ sake. So, in a popularity contest - it's pretty fair to say The Dodgers have the advantage. But both teams have a good fanbase, both teams have hardcore fans and both teams have bandwagon/marginal fans. Trying to disuade anyone from one opinion to the other is hopeless...and irrelevant, for that matter.
Better an Angels fan than a Giants fan, I say.
SystemOfACrown must be upset that a player on the Angels is his new daddy or something.
Who took your mom from you System?
Harris Interactive | The Harris Poll - Bases Loaded: Yankees, Braves and Red Sox Take Top Honors as America’s Favorite Baseball Teams for Second Year in a Row!
BTW here is the link since you didn't provide it.
"This Harris Poll® was conducted online within the United States between June 9 and 16, 2008 among 2,454 adults, of whom 918 follow baseball."
Wow, out of 918 people that actually follow baseball, the Angels ranked 29th. Guess that proves that no one cares right?
The Angels don't care about black people. Discuss.
Glad to see that report. Makes me feel better about being an Angels fan. Let me explain why they are ranked so low to the jealous hating Doyer fans. Orange County is a great place to live. Once people more here, they stay. So, we have a lot of people moving here from other baseball regions. They keep their loyalty to their previous city team. The teams that have huge followings (Cubs, Boston, Yankees) have these huge followings because it sucks to actually live there. That is why they are HERE in OC. The Dodgers have so many fans because when the Raiders left, their fans had only the Doyers to latch onto. The Dodgers had a lot of success many decades ago and have been here longer in the 2nd most populated city in the US. OC is just a small county. And, it is obviously "cooler" to be a Dodger fan. Like being a member of a gang. Admit it Dodger fans, you would trade your entire team for the Angels owner and entire organization or players, managers and coaches, no questions asked.
