I knew they'd get at least a draw after that penalty. I didn't think they'd get the equalizer that soon though. Now a win is a good possibility.


I thought bringing on Beckham after halftime was a great move. They play so much better when he plays. It was a mistake for him not to start but it looks like it may not come back to bite them in the ass.

Croatia back on top. What a game.

England loses and Russia finishes the game against Andorra.

Great result, at least it spares us the inevitable favourites tags(From the press) that accompanies English teams into major finals.


As for Holland, they lost 2-1 against Belarus and almost never made it.

He was probably gone no matter what. The LA incident did him in.

I say good. It keeps the players in our favorite clubs away from international duty, and hopefully it shakes up the organizational structure, and really helps make this team great for when it counts, the World Cup.

McClaren just got canned.

According to ESPN, Capello is interested in the England job. If true, then the English FA need not **** around and snap him up asap.

Mourinho has also been mentioned as the bookies' favorite to win the job. With 6 Chelsea players on the England squad, it probably makes for a smoother transition if England hires Mourinho.

England are going to be real good at winning ugly with either one of them at the helm.
