Definitely, PK selection you might as well just pull names out of a hat. I mean if the Japanese goalie dives the other way then Sundhage looks like a genius for choosing the "veteran" Boxx to go first. Then if Wambach finishes it with her kick she looks like a genius for saving her for later. Like you said and I mentioned pretty much all luck!

But yea, should never have gotten into extra time.

At least we can all now stop pretending like we care about girl's soccer. Cause I'll be honest, I really don't give a ****!

This is a big moment for the future of Tottenham Hotspur. Especially with Arsenal potentially facing an exodus of key players, Spurs can become a major player in North London but if they lose Modric no player will take them seriously as a perennial contender. Imperative they keep Modric if they intend to challenger for the league title year in and year out.

It's an interesting diversion from the men's game from time to time, though I don't know how much of that is the actual games and how much is Morgan and Solo.

Spurs are a 6th placed team with or without Modric. They don't have money to buy the players they need to improve. They made the CL last season and still have to sell before they can buy this summer. It's just the way it is these days.

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has confirmed his interest in former Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor. Adebayor is out of favor at Manchester City and spent the second half of last season on loan at Real Madrid. He is currently training with the reserves after being left out of the squad for the preseason tour to North America. Redknapp is hoping to land the striker on a loan deal.
